²⁷ The men from Tekoa repaired the wall from the place near the great tower as far as the wall of Ophel.

²⁸ The priests repaired the wall on the north side of the Horse Gate. Each priest repaired the wall in front of his house. ²⁹ Immer's son, Zadok, repaired the wall in front of his house. Next to him, Shecaniah's son, Shemaiah, repaired the wall. He was the guard at the city's East Gate.
